Despite Manchester City not yet giving an inch in the Premier League title race, Liverpool are keeping their nerve and piling on pressure… HOW are your nerves holding up? I flit from extreme confidence to shaking at the prospect of an opposition corner...
Liverpool won’t have too many complaints after another win over Everton, but there will be some more Merseyside derby disappointment… HAS he taken the goal-kick yet? The 240th Merseyside derby might not have been the perfect advertisement for the...
Liverpool were much improved from their last meeting with Manchester City, and their last Wembley semi final, and it showed this time round… EVERYTHING looks rosier when the sun’s out. London does summer very well and Liverpool does summer extremely well....
It wasn’t pretty at times as Liverpool had to take their punches and ride it out, but The Reds showed they can match Manchester City again… I WANTED a rope-a-dope game. It started as mostly dope. The bad sort. The rope-a-dope expression comes from...
With a series of huge games to come for Liverpool, fans can be forgiven for getting caught up – but we wouldn’t swap it for the alternative… MAY you live in interesting times. I’ve always liked that expression, but have just learned that it is, in some...
With Liverpool and Manchester City fans being all but left to make their own way to Wembley, should we ever have expected better from The FA? IT was a nice idea to hold the FA Cup semi final in the north, but it was never going to happen. Despite the...
It’s 47 games played and counting for The Reds, but once again it’s Manchester City standing in the way of something special ONE trophy in the cabinet, in the semi-final of the FA Cup, the last eight in Europe and one point behind the Premier League...

The third episode of season one of The Pub Crawlers Podcast was recorded in Nottingham, as Rob Gutmann hosts Steve Graves and Martin Fitzgerald to discuss the local pub scene, Indian restaurants, students, and more…
The Pub Crawlers Podcast represents a quest to find the very best authentic UK pubs, filmed on location inside some of the finest boozers across the UK and Ireland.

The shows are presented by self-styled boozer connoisseur and long-time pub designer and owner, Rob Gutmann, who is on a mission to find the very best pubs in the UK and to define the essence of the ‘true’ pub.
Featuring a wide range of guests (mainly Rob’s mates), we’ll be visiting pubs the length and breadth of the country, bedding into the very best of them, and chatting about our lives lived in and around boozers.
The first season of the Pub Crawlers focuses on the North of England, taking in Chester, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, and even a brief foray to the north side of the Midlands in Nottingham.
Plug yourself in to the ongoing conversation as it disappears down all manner of tenuously pub-related worm holes, with your new mates at TPC. And you don’t need a pint to enjoy us, but it might help…
