Personally I wouldn’t have wanted Hyypia as assistant, I don’t think he’s experienced enough. Wouldnt mind see him at the club in some coaching role. Sami has been a club capt, he’s won top trophies at Liverpool and would command respect from the players. As a coach/assistant he’s been involved with the Finnish national team and Leverkausen in the Bundesliga. Not to be sniffed at at the age of 41. He both played and managed/coached at a very high level.
SO’D at the age of 57 hasn’t been involved with any team/club at the level we’re at and I think that’s what people are concerned about.
As I said in Melissa’s article, get off Twitter and stop listening to the fucking muppets on it. Nothing’s gonna be good enough for them. That’s not to say there isn’t some things to be concerned with just don’t let those fucktards on Twitter colour your view.
