Good discussion – its been a rapid 24hrs of news that I tend to keep forgetting about Hoever. Great to get a Wolves voice on to give us a bit of insight. I think he’s a very tidy player that can play in a phone box which is nice given how tight our opposition can play, something where Origi might like a bit of pace – why I thought Villa was a good option for him.
I wonder what happened with Jota. He was down to 2 years on his contract and Liverpool got him fast – was he showing Wolves some resistance to an extension and his Agent knew the clubs looking at him (?)
Ruben Neves turns 24 next March and will then have 2 years on his contract. Thats another junction in a players career that has a higher level in him and would be a natural point in age/contract to consider a move.
