Instead of cancelling the season (a growing concern) finish it no matter what the delay and then adjust next season, even if this means less fixtures next season. This would mean the structure of next season would be known when all teams have nil points which is completely fair. Say only 30 games played instead of 38, same for everyone and not
beyond the premier league to ensure a fair balance re which teams only play each other once.
This would solve all the problems that cancelling this season would cause (TV, Euro qualification, promotion relegation, legal matters etc
