Our first World Cup show starts with a discussion of Friday’s thriller between Portugal and Spain. Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Costa both did what they do best in setting the scene for an almighty payoff with Ronaldo’s free kick effectively acting as an opening ceremony for the tournament.
We work through all the games so far in Groups A – D, dwelling on how the Argentina/Iceland game may well have ramifications and how it could be construed as an opportunity missed for Iceland.
