A packed Citytalk show sees The Anfield Wrap look at Liverpool’s likely approach to the FA Cup this season and West Brom on Saturday night. Saturday night? What do we all make of that?
John Gibbons and Heather Carroll chat to Beth England and Alex Greenwood about Liverpool Ladies’s season to date and the games to come. They also speak to manager Scott Rogers.
Neil Atkinson and Mike Nevin pay tribute to Jimmy Armfield, a legend of the English game before all eyes are on West Brom and that fourth round tie. Joined by Tim Smith and Andy Heaton on top of everyone else, it’s a great show with a cast of thousands.
Direct – Radio City Talk: Radio City Talk: A Bounce Back Weekend?
Free show, so cant complain too much, but am really not into promoting the betting.
Farce of a game this. VAR is a circus. Matip is dogshit. If we get beat by this west brom team tonight then this season is going down the pan . Porto gonna be pissing themselves laughing. Come on red men, 45 minutes to show something
This window has wreaked havoc on LFC emotional/psychological state…from Klopp-players-supporters- organization seems disturbing and off form…
Losing key player/rotations evolve to changes in goal/defensive reorganization/transfer market inactivity/culminating in back to back defeats against the bottom 2 respectively…this is a crisis phase possibly triggered by jan window events/non events…
Don’t think signings are necessary the solution…more like the problem…soon as window shuts…the turmoil may naturally settle due to clarity vs. uncertainty…I shout out Quincy Promes over Lemar…watching both, Lemar seems half the player for double the $….
Best thing about the FA cup conclusion is WBA 3 hem string long term issues…that performance will probably seal their PL relegation…worth it to give up FA cup and concentrate on 2nd plus CL campaign…and not have WBA in Prem next season…given a choice between proceeding to next round or relegating WBA…I say fuck the FA cup…bye bye westbrom
@Micha Good shout. I agree. We seem really rattled by this Jan transfer window. Media are to blame for it as well. Fuck them!
As for the FA Cup, it’s Fuck All anyways. I prefer we just set our sights on the CL and EPL top four. I think we will get through the next round of the CL.
It’s how we shape up against Huddersfield that will tempt fate.
