Liverpool have yet again thrown points away from a winning position. What should Jurgen Klopp be doing about this? What could the consequences be?
It was a frustrating game but one where Liverpool also played very well.
The club though has some hard choices to face. And a game in two days. Swansea City are on the horizon for The Reds. Who should start in goal?

Guys I have just subscribed and one of the reasons I did was because you always articulate your views so well and argue points brilliantly. But just to say Karius is crap is not totally fair. The guy is 24 and hasn’t even played 20 games for Liverpool I think. He was voted second best keeper in Germany the season before we signed him. I I’m sure he got injured in his first pre season with the club which he admitted didn’t help him settle. Now I’m not saying he is the going to go on to be a great keeper for Liverpool, and I know he has not looked convincing so far. But there are countless examples over the years of Goalkeepers taking time to settle There were question marks over Pepe Reina at the end of his first year. Again I’m not saying Karius will go on to be a success, but let’s not totally write him off. And if as Liverpool fans we start a narrative that he is crap and that becomes the perception people have of him I don’t know how that benefits the player or LFC. It is already happening at games when he is anywhere near the ball. Liverpool used to be famous for backing its team and players, as long as the give 100%. He may end up first choice this season so let’s try and back the lad. Love the videos though guys keep it up.
Gibbo, Karius isn’t “crap” he’s hardly played enough games to warrant that insult. Let’s give the lad an extended run so he can prove what he can do?

Up the Reds!!!
Karius never got the confident start that would have been ideal because of breaking his hand. We do not know his ceiling because he has not had the run to find it. I suspect we have stumbled on Migs ceiling by having him around this long and noting that he has bursts of good then the consistency drops off. Potentially Karius could be better, but when can we afford the run of games with the howlers in to check or forge that? I am afraid even though I defended Karius, that this is a mini goalie wilderness, like the one before Pepe came. I am afraid I have no answer because Brendan was right, you have to build this plane whilst flying it.
