IN another exclusive to The Anfield Wrap’s TAW Player, Josh Sexton is joined by Nicolas Anelka over the phone to talk about his time at Liverpool.
The Frenchman made 22 appearances and scored five goals for the Reds during a six-month loan spell from Paris Saint-Germain but wasn’t retained by the club — to the dismay of supporters even to this day.
Anelka went on to have a highly successful career which spanned almost 20 years in total and featured over 200 goals.
In this 15-minute chat Anelka talks about the attraction of Liverpool, the club, the city, the fans, scoring in a Merseyside derby and the reasons behind his controversial exit under Gerard Houllier.
This is not to be missed.

Question. I have seen the twitter tweets about these “exclusive interviews”, but they do not download to Podcast Addict like all of the other shows. It is like they do not exist. Today while I was at work, I saw the tweet about this Nicolas Anelka, so I clicked on the link, saved it to the Pocket app, and now I can listen. But again, when I scroll through the list of podcasts via Podcast Addict, this interview does not display. To confuse me even more, while logged into TAW via the website, if I look for the Anelka interview, it does not display here either. My only access to the interview was from me saving the tweet via Pocket. If my memory serves me correct, you had a fairly recent Lucas Leiva exclusive interview, which I cannot find anywhere.
Do you have any insight to this, or has anyone else mentioned this problem?
