There is an even better variant of the curry (or in fact any restaurant) I like this and I like this question. Any town you just arrived in, get in a taxi and ask the driver “If you were going out to eat right now, where would you go?. Then get him to drive you there.
And black pudding?. Roast it, split in half, make sure its the type with pinhead oatmeal in it, serve it with a sauce made from apples, red onions (chopped fine and softened in oil) and red wine. A very good starter.
