JOHN GIBBONS is making Neil Atkinson talk to a Leicester City fan and there is nothing he can do about it. But even Neil is buzzing by the end of a chat with Pete Selby from For Fox Sake Podcast.

Pete also works as a commentator at Leicester and so is ideally placed to fill us in on the mood and growing jubilation at The King Power Stadium. He tells us how calm watching The Foxes play at the moment is and how different players in the squad are finding ways to step up and be counted at different points of the run in.

We also discussed the free beer and doughnuts on offer before Leicester’s last home game and how the Chairman and those running the club have successfully fostered a one club mentality throughout.

After Pete it is the turn of Manchester City fan David Mooney from the Blue Moon podcast. Neil and John make fun of our predictions that Manchester City might struggle at the weekend during the Friday show and ask David for the reasons it all clicked against Bournemouth.

But they mainly get him on to discuss City’s upcoming Champions League tie against Paris St Germain. The lads try and work out how good PSG are based on their runaway success in the French League and if Manchester City have enough to make it an interesting tie back at The Etihad. They also discuss the potential protest against ticket prices for the home leg and the knock on effects this might have on the atmosphere in the ground.

John and Neil also manage to sneak in a quick chat about Norwich v Newcastle and what that result has done to the bottom of the table.
