THIS week ‘The Coach Home’ starts with West Ham United and ends with Everton. A journey from the light into the dark. From joy to misery.

Sorry.

It is hosted by Neil Atkinson and John Gibbons and they are joined by Andy Middleton and Dave Downie.

Andy is understandably very pleased with West Ham’s season. This is the run in and they look to be the side most in form outside of the top two. They have an FA Cup quarter final replay at home. They are, in short, flying. Payet is the tip of the iceburg – Bilic’s men are impressing every week.

On the other hand Dave Downie is talking Everton and currently to talk Everton is to talk Martinez. Mike Nevin’s mantra that nothing kills a manager like poor home form is in full effect here. Martinez’s Everton have been so poor at home that the atmosphere around him is the worst it has been despite the semi final.

Barkley and Lukaku are running wild but The Old Lady isn’t rocking, she’s rolling. What can turn this around?

All aboard then. West Ham, Everton – The Coach Home.
