LIVERPOOL are welcoming West Ham. Everton are going to Carlisle. Derby County are hosting Manchester United. It’s The Friday Show where TAW Player gives you everything you need for your weekend of football.

In the TAW Studio Neil Atkinson is joined by The Independent’s Si Hughes refreshed from his South American jaunt and the Liverpool Echo’s Dave Prentice to talk firstly about The Reds.

What does Klopp do with his players who have 120 minutes in their legs? How does Joe Allen get a game? And what of Danny Ward? Liverpool have to face a side which has done the double over them this season. They appear to be carrying Kryptonite though Liverpool are more Clark Kent than Supermen especially at the start of games. This will need to be addressed.

West Ham themselves are impressing and Neil speaks to Andy Middleton about feeling on the up.

Everton and especially Martinez are on the ropes. A season which has promised so much and with exceptional young talent finds itself reeling from game to game. Can Carlisle cause an upset, or will Martinez be able to get the Blues back on track?

Manchester United and their lads are lucky to get a Friday evening on the ale in Derby but will their side be able to get a result? Derby are at the top end of the Championship and despite a 4-1 defeat by Burnley will fancy their chances. Joel Clyne from the Derby County Podcast chats to Neil about the season so far and Friday night.

It is The Friday Show. Tell your mates. Nothing sets your weekend up quite like it. All the news that’s fit to print.

In a free clip from the show, Dave Prentice and Si Hughes talk about Steven Caulker and the improved form of Joe Allen.
