AS everyone knows The Capital One Cup is the biggest trophy in world football, so how better to mark semi-final, leg 2 week than with a Coach Home special.

First up is Stoke fan Elliot Hackney from The Bear Pit TV. He’s disappointed after a hammering at top of the table Leicester, but talks up Stoke’s chances of turning the tables at Anfield. He talks Shawcross, team selection and the dilemmas of brawn vs beauty up front.

Next is Manchester City fan David Mooney from The Blue Moon podcast. He describes a Manchester City frustrated by defensive mistakes and a lack of form of key players that the manager refuses to rotate. He’s also a bit worried about Everton and their ability to grind out a result as they did at The Etihad in the league a few weeks ago.

Dave Downie is on hand to reassure him. He’s not happy with any of them after a disappointing defeat at home to Swansea on Sunday. But where is it going wrong for The Blues? The goalkeeper who is playing for himself? The defence who can’t head it away? A team lacking in killer instinct? Or a manager who isn’t getting the most out of a talented squad?

The Road to Wembley ends here. But who fancies it?
