ROB GUTMANN in the transfer gutter, discussing tales from the tabs with special guests Ian Salmon, John Gibbons and Paul Senior.

Liverpool’s deepening striker crisis is analysed and there’s the usual considerations of all the names being linked to Liverpool FC this week , including :

Southampton striker Shane Long – With reports of an £8 million pound bid being rejected by the South Coast club, which is bit cheeky considering the loyalty we’ve shown then over the last few seasons, would it be money well spent by Liverpool?

Gotze – Surely this is WAY beyond the realms of possibility, especially in January, despite the constant fluttering of eyelids from Mario’s camp towards the boss?

Morata – In the news nonsense cycle, Liverpool have today been linked with former Real Madrid starlet and Juventus forward Alvaro Morata who’s value has mysteriously doubled in the last few months despite not actually playing that well.

And no Gutter would be complete without a sneaky mention of the love of Gutmann’s life, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, who has again been linked with a move to Merseyside.

There should be a Godwin’s type Law created for Lacazette, we’re not actually sure if Rob isn’t secretly his agent.

This weeks Gutter, it’s filth.

In a free clip from this weeks show, Gibbo explains why he thinks signing Shane Long would be a bad idea for the Reds.
