Quality pod as always. Share the misgivings about the centre of our defence. Given sakho’s injury record, lovren will be a key player for us this season and while we may have bought goals, no amount of goals can protect you from lovren.
However, I disagree with the pods assessment of lallana. I find him a distracting, frustrating player prone to running into blind alleys with limited end product. Let’s hope I am proven to be wrong.
I agree with your opinion on Lallana. For the money we have paid for him i just don’t see him getting the figures we need from an attacking midfielder and he holds onto the ball for far too long.
