KRAKOW’S loss is The Rider’s gain as John Gibbons is back. He is with Neil Atkinson, Stephanie Heneghan and Adam Melia with this week’s latest blast from The Rider. It’s ten great songs and unexpected talk of Duncan Ferguson’s eclectic...
THE RIDER this week opens with a ton of brilliant tunes that sound very 1980s indeed. Then there is some film talk and a ton of hysterical laughter. Disappointingly the show is 78 minutes long. It should be 74… Anyway, Neil Atkinson tries to keep order with...
YOU want good music? Tons of good music? You are in the direct place. Neil Atkinson is joined by John Gibbons, Stephanie Heneghan and Adam Melia. Ten great records with talking in between. Everything you could hope for. It’s The Rider....
ANOTHER show with no Gibbo, and we’re recording on a Friday – everything is turned on its a head a bit… so we just have a bevvy and choose our favourites from the year so far. 12 great tracks, ale from the Tesco, and an air of hysteria throughout...
NEIL ATKINSON, Stephanie Heneghan and Adam Melia are in an unfamilar studio but still have 9 great songs. All about the memories of Glastonbury both there and at the telly and the bangers are well and truly out....
OK. Stephanie emailed me. Said there’s a show missing. I (NA) went, no. Can’t be. She said there is. There is a show missing. And she was correct. Very correct. There was a show missing from a couple of weeks ago. This is that show. So SOZ ABAR (NA)....
GLASTONBURY is upon us and Neil Atkinson, John Gibbons and Stephanie Heneghan pick a day each to tell you who you should be going to see. Or who you should be watching on the TV. Glastonbury expert Adam Melia phones one in too. 10 great songs and not a muddy trek in...
ADAM MELIA returns to the fold and learns he’s missed everything. Stephanie Heneghan doesn’t share, apart from at Tapas. Neil Atkinson has brought presents, because it’s the 109th show. John Gibbons is a hot mess. All this. AND more. As Gwen Stefani...
ADAM’S in Amsterdam but he’s not swaying as much as the tower. Braving the winds is Andrew from Farm Feast to discuss the upcoming festival. There’s also a post-mortem of a very drunken night out. Oh and 10 great songs. Fan Man Scoop. Cut the crap....
NEIL ATKINSON, John Gibbons and Adam Melia soldier on without Stephanie Heneghan as she is away. They open with a big French number in her honour and and talk about surfing, Lisbon and library fines. Because why wouldn’t you? 10 absolutely belting tunes. Made up...
The Pub Crawlers Podcast: Down The Local with Mo Stewart (S1E5)
The fifth episode of season one of The Pub Crawlers Podcast was recorded ‘Down The Local’ in Liverpool, as Rob Gutmann hosts Steve Graves and Mo Stewart to discuss worst pub toilet experiences, music in pubs, Glastonbury, and more…
The Pub Crawlers Podcast represents a quest to find the very best authentic UK pubs, filmed on location inside some of the finest boozers across the UK and Ireland.
Well, sort of. It’s equally about friends having three to four pint-fuelled, quintessential pub conversations, on any subjects that damn well occur to them, in a range of outstanding boozers across the land. So, really, it’s as much about what we get up to in pubs as the pubs themselves.
The shows are presented by self-styled boozer connoisseur and long-time pub designer and owner, Rob Gutmann, who is on a mission to find the very best pubs in the UK and to define the essence of the ‘true’ pub.
Featuring a wide range of guests (mainly Rob’s mates), we’ll be visiting pubs the length and breadth of the country, bedding into the very best of them, and chatting about our lives lived in and around boozers.
The first season of the Pub Crawlers focuses on the North of England, taking in Chester, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, and even a brief foray to the north side of the Midlands in Nottingham.
Plug yourself in to the ongoing conversation as it disappears down all manner of tenuously pub-related worm holes, with your new mates at TPC. And you don’t need a pint to enjoy us, but it might help…
