Sorry, no doubt people will disagree but I am seriously wondering if Firmino is now worth his place? Almost no goal threat, diminishing number of assists but a lot of running. To me that isn’t enough….we will regret missing out on Werner for many years!
I said it many times before that Jordan Henderson is our key player as our holding defensive midfielder , without him we seem to be in array , he controls the game with his leadership ,passing & running ,we won the title because he played almost every game , and I said this in way back in 2014 he was suspended against Chelsea and Gerrard had to fill in Hendos position and we all know Stevie was an attacking midfielder , hence he slipped because he was doing the defence work which was not his natural position, if Hendo played that day we would have beaten Chelsea or drawn and we would gone on to win the title.Against Burnley on Saturday we missed Hendo we played well and would have won and Salah was awful.
