With the eve of Liverpool’s season resuming at Goodison Park we’ve decided to re-release what was our second in our series of free audio documentaries revisiting notable days in Liverpool Football Club’s history.
This time we head back to November 6, 1982 and to Goodison Park for a derby victory Liverpool fans still sing about to this day.
Helping us tell the story are Liverpool players Ian Rush, Phil Thompson, Alan Kennedy and Bruce Grobbelaar, Everton legend Graeme Sharp, first-team coach Roy Evans, journalists Graham Beecroft, Tony Evans and Brian Reade and supporters Rob Gutmann, John Mackin, Mike Nevin and Kev Sampson.
