Our first team look shot and out of ideas, our bench is woefully short of quality.

Wow, that was grim. Don’t you guys think that if you and the guys around you are all sitting there in the stands after 15-20 thinking here we go again we are not getting anything from this it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
We didn’t create heaps but enough to win 1-0, especially with a decent penalty decision. We definitely haven’t been playing at our best but we have had a heavy load with key injuries, so it is no surprise.
Give Coutinho time to get back to his best and a bit of a breather during in the week to work on some things and I think we will get back to something approaching the form at the start of the season.
No doubt about it, a slump. Chelsea, Spurs, United, and City have already had theirs. With the goals in this side spread throughout, we will stabilize and bounce back. Grateful that only 3 of the last 7 games were in the league. If we can only get out of January alive.
