Guys I’m not jumping on the band wagon hear after a 0-0 draw but Divock Origi has been poor all season
It’s a myth to say he’s strong in the ball cos he isn’t. He looses the ball too much and never seems to be on anyone’s wave length
Maybe there simply hasn’t been anyone else to play upfront but Origi has been poor all season
He may have gone on a run of 5 goals in 5 games but even them performances he didn’t do enough
Look closely he’s crap
Some of the senior players, at times, inhibited the youngsters. Take Woodburn for example, one thing we all know is that the kid can deffo do stuff with a deadball. Can and Albie though have never done anything for us in these situations. Yet they chased him off early doors and fucked it up when they took it. Woodburn stopped asking after the first two on the left hand side and Klopp should have intervened. They may well have been the senior pros in that first half; but they are both no-marks with a deadball.
Origi and Ojo did jack-shit all game long, worrying that given Ojo is one of our hopes to take up Sadio’s slack during AFCON. Origi seems to be dropping back into the headless chicken mode he struck after arriving with that French stain on his reputation. He should have been Lord of the Dance, in a game against lowly opposition. Lashing his junk out all over the place, ‘here, get look at this and weep, ya barskits’; instead, he hid behind the curtains and played with himself like some prevert with overwhelming inhibitions.
On the subject of preverts, I wonder if the FA will do anything about that grock defender who the cameras caught interfering with Can? My mate Pat played center half for combined services and teams like Wyckham later on. He favoured the thumb up the japsi because it regularly ‘got the attacker’s attention’. Pat would gladly take the resulting punch as it was that that drew the redcard. He told me that it would be no use against Olliver Geroud though, the French always come out for the second half with the lube in place. That’s why Razor always went for Cantona’s collar; knowing that his brown-eye came prepped for action.
2nd in the Premier League can’t beat 2nd in league 2. In fact we can barely create any clear-cut chances. If the purpose of entering the competition is to win it, then the pink was being very apologetic and forgiving indeed. If the purpose is to give the young lads a run-out, then fair enough assessment I suppose.
