Seemed pretty harsh tonight Gents considering we just got through to semi final, you all sounded very flat
How many other clubs would want your situation right now
Leeds just won last 5
I thought the new lads fitted in very well.
*Our situation
Good solid result if a little unspectacular.
My only criticism would be keep Emre away from goal scoring opportunities.
t the moment he couldn’t hit the side of a barn if he was leaning on it.
I thought Can looked good when he played as the deepest midfielder. I thought his strength and power with the ball was impressive. But, it was hard to make an individual judgement when collectively everyone, bar the defence, was playing in a it of a disjointed manner. Leeds seemed very coherent i what they were trying to do. They swamped Eljaria and Mane in particular as well as literally stamping out Origi, particularly in the second half.
In the end class won out but the boys had to fight for it. Makes the win feel all the better.
Agree about Can, mate. We took control of the game when he went to dm.
