Scouse Prams

Fella with a massive pram, flashing lights, a blow up doll and a dog with a Liverpool kit on and shades.

Keep dog prams Scouse. @StephenEvans75.

Mad Tackles More-no More

Those Moreno tackles where he turns himself inside out and goes for the ball with his wrong foot are bonkers. @NeilDocking.

He’s a fucking halfwit doing those tackles. Only a matter of time before he snaps his knees off. Both of them. @chrismaguire73.

Think You’ve Found Yourself A Cheerleader?

Wool as fuck this half time shite. @robbohuyton.

I expected to see Ben Johnno throwing sausages at those cheerleaders. @paul7cope.

Sturr Crazy

Definitely true that Sturridge and Sterling are/were picked on over ‘laziness’, doesn’t happen with Origi, Wijnaldum etc though. @Danny_Austin14.

Depends what you want to pick out really, doesn’t it? Sturridge had his name sang tonight on a number of occasions. @robbohuyton.

Just a bizarre situation for me. I’m not sure he’ll ever get the love that’s shown to some other players whose record is a shadow of what his is. It’s very strange. Thought he was excellent tonight. @StephenEvans75.

Big Divvy

What about that Big Divvy tho eh. Great performance that. @StephenEvans75.

Origi looked much more like the Origi in the latter stages of last season. Dominant, fast and a superb touch. Great to be reminded he still exists as his showings this season so far have been poor imitations. @JohnnyMilburn.

The Moan Stand

Sturridge apparently lazy, disinterested, arrogant, selfish. There are some things about the Main Stand that don’t change: the amount of fucking bollocks some people talk. @IanRSalmon.

I’m with you there, Ian. Seen as though I’m sat three seats behind you, I hear the same shite about Sturridge, scored two probably should have had two more but the second he stops running he gets stick. I don’t get it. @StephenEvans75.

The Kids Are Alright

Don’t want to get over-excited based on one performance but really impressed by what I saw from Ejaria, his footwork is immense for his age, he just spins away from lads leaving them no choice but to hack him down.

Trent looked slightly more nervy but that’s to be expected at this stage – love the fact he absolutely wiped that lad out first half, though. @jsexton24.

England’s Kev Stewart

Big fan of Kev Stewart, good on the ball and strong in the tackle. @Danny_Austin14.

Kev Stewart getting closer and closer to that inevitable England call-up. @whichdave.

When One Becomes Two

Call me an old square from the past, but I do enjoy seeing two up front every now and again. None of this false nine, subdued 10, perplexed seven or whimsical 11 business. Just two lads who want to get into areas that hurt the opposition. I’m all for that. @66zimbo.

Blag Winter Break?

Can make an argument the manager can use Sturridge and Origi to give everyone in the front three a form of winter break when Mane goes away. Long way off though. @Knox_Harrington.
