IT’S Monday morning. The Reds just beat Arsenal 4-3, and the world feels a much better place right now. So, shall we have a look at some transfer gossip?
Martin Odegaard has 48 hours to make a decision on his next destination as he weighs up a loan move to Stade Rennais in France.
The Telegraph are reporting that the Norwegian starlet has offers on the table from various clubs including Liverpool, but Zinedine Zidane is set to make the final decision, with France the manager’s preferred destination.
Can he play left back?
Reds Move For Medel?
Liverpool have made an offer for former Cardiff City man Gary Medel, according to reports in The Express.
The Chilean was named player of the tournament at this summer’s Copa America, and has recently emerged as a target for the Reds, with Jürgen Klopp reportedly looking to further bolster his midfield options.
Is he the defensive midfielder we’ve been looking for?
Sakho Set To Leave?
The Express are reporting that fan favourite Mamadou Sakho could be set for a move away, with Besiktas interested in a move.
The French international, who has endured a mad few months, was sent home from Liverpool’s pre-season tour with question marks raised over his attitude and questions marks over his future at the club still remain.
I genuinely believe it’s not a big deal – as Klopp said – and can’t see him going.
Lucas Future Still A Doubt?
Lucas Leiva could still be set for a move away from Anfield this summer, with Inter Milan interested in signing the Brazilian, according to Italian publication Gazza Mercato
Lucas’s future has been in question for most of the summer window, though it has been previously suggested that Klopp would favour keeping hold of the midfielder as backup, and he looked set to stay when a proposed move to Galatasaray went cold.
Inter have just got new owners, for what it’s worth. Dunno if that means anything, like.
Your daily Christian Benteke update. The Croydon Advertiser are reporting that Crystal Palace could be set for a double swoop for the Belgian, as well as West Brom’s Saido Berahino.
Yannick Bolasie is set to move to Everton in the coming days, which should see momentum pick up in the negotiations for Benteke, with the Reds holding firm on their valuation.
The Ev helping us sell players. Cheers, lads!
Finally, it’s your daily Mario Balotelli update. According to The Guardian, another club – who only recently put themselves in the running to sign him – have pulled out of signing him. *sighs*
Sassuolo always said that Liverpool would have to reduce their valuation of the player for a move to happen, and it appears that hasn’t happened as the Serie A club have turned down the chance to sign the player.

Gary Medel was named to the Copa America best 11, not the player of the tournament. That was awarded to Alexis Sanchez (to be fair though 8 of the best 11 were from Chile)
