IT’S Tuesday morning, and it’s time for another round-up of the latest Liverpool FC transfer gossip.

Markovic Heading To Italy?

Lazar Markovic could be heading for the exit door, just two seasons after his £20million move from Benfica.

Il Tempo are reporting that Lazio are interested in signing the Serbian winger, who is believed to be on the periphery of Jürgen Klopp’s squad after a less than impressive pre-season.

And his replacement?

Reds In For El Ghazi

Step forward, Anwar El Ghazi. The £15million-rated Ajax winger is believed to be the man the Reds are targeting to replace the outgoing Serb, according to the ECHO.

The 21-year-old has scored 21 goals in two seasons in the Eredivisie, and is highly thought of within the Ajax set-up.

I know what you’re thinking:

Another Sissoko Link

It’s the move nobody wants to happen. Moussa Sissoko has once again been linked, though it is believed that Newcastle are currently in negotiations with Crystal Palace, while Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have also made contact about the player.

According to the French outlet 10 Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are still the favourites for his signature, with Blaise Matuidi reportedly set to leave the club.

I hope Klopp sees sense with this.

Witsel As Pogba Replacement?

Reported Liverpool and Everton target Axel Witsel is set to reject both Merseyside clubs in favour of a move to Juventus.

The Belgian midfielder is wanted as a replacement for the departed Paul Pogba, and it is believed that Juventus have already made an offer of around 20million euros, according to Sport.

I don’t reckon we’re desperate for another midfielder. Some might disagree. Here’s a funny video:

Reds To Battle Arsenal For Brozovic?

Marcelo Brozovic is a target for both Liverpool and Arsenal according to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are believed to be looking for £30million and both Premier League clubs could be set to make an offer for the Croatian.
