Mersey Rivals Battle For Hart?

According to Sky Sports, Joe Hart is set to leave Manchester City after being dropped by Pep Guardiola, with Everton and Liverpool both rumoured to be interested.

City seem set to sign Claudio Bravo from Barcelona which would leave Hart as third choice ‘keeper, after he was replaced by Willy Caballero for Saturday’s win over Sunderland.

Really overrated keeper in my eyes.

Balotelli Meets With Mourinho

Liverpool misfit Mario Balotelli has reportedly had a private meeting with former manager Jose Mourinho, though Calcio De Mercato are reporting that it wasn’t to do with a transfer to Manchester United.

Instead, Mourinho was believed to be giving the Italian some advice as he continues to look for a move away from Merseyside, insisting that the striker needs to change his attitude in order to revive his career.

I reckon it’s a little too late, personally.

Palace Clauses Revealed

The “unrealistic” add ons which caused the latest talks over the transfer of Christian Benteke from Liverpool to Crystal Palace to collapse have been revealed.

According to the ECHO the additional clauses included £2.5 million should Alan Pardew’s side qualify for the Champions League – and required Benteke to score 20 goals while playing in 70% of the Eagles’ games.

Palace being silly there, aren’t they?

El Ghazi Offered To Clubs?

Liverpool target Anwar El Ghazi has reportedly been offered to clubs by his agent Jorge Mendes as the player looks to secure a move away from Ajax.

Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio suggest that AC Milan are the frontrunners for his signature with the player’s agent having been in discussions with the Rossoneri.

I’m happy with Sadio and Phil, lads.

Lucas’s Agent: Klopp Blocked Move

Lucas Leiva’s agent has claimed that Jürgen Klopp’s intervention was the reason the Brazilian’s proposed move to Galatasaray fell through, according to the Mirror.

Lucas was rumoured to have agreed terms with the Turkish club, and was happy to make the move, but Klopp was keen on keeping the midfielder at the club as a versatile backup.

Rafa Won’t Budge On Sissoko Valuation

Rafa Benitez has insisted he won’t negotiate lower than the £35m asking price he has placed on Moussa Sissoko, according to TeamTalk.com.

The French international, was one of the stars of Euro 2016 and several clubs are rumoured to be interested in the player’s signature – with Liverpool and Real Madrid amongst them – however the club are yet to receive an official offer.

No thanks, Rafa.
