Don’t forget about Mama, James. The Express’ Paul Joyce reported that the defender has turned down a move to Besiktas, despite being told that he will have to go on loan to save his Liverpool career.
Seems this one could be a bit of a tug-of-war.

Mario Balotelli is in Nice this morning undergoing a medical, ahead of a move to Ligue 1 side Nice, according to Football Italia.
However, it is still believed that an agreement between the two clubs is yet to be reached, and it is still unclear how the player’s £110,000 a week wages will be paid.
There’s going to be some fume if this falls through.
Reports in La Lazio Siamo Noi suggest that Luis Alberto is in Rome undergoing a medical ahead of his £6million move to Lazio.
Jürgen Klopp has deemed the Spaniard surplus to requirements as he looks set to be the first out the door on deadline day.

The Mirror’s David Maddock has reported that Klopp remains confident of being able to send Lazar Markovic to Sporting Lisbon, though a loan deal looks the most likely option.
The Reds were looking for a permanent move for the Serb, but could be tempted into a loan move if the deal includes some commitment towards a permanent move in the future.
Must be a reason he’s been shunned by two managers, right?
Doesn’t seem to be anything new on the Andre Wisdom front, since it was reported that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Red Bull Salzburg to send the defender on a season long loan.
He must be getting bored of loans.
Does Andre Wisdom ever unpack?

Not much news on this, either. There had been reports that several clubs were interested in a loan move for Tiago Ilori, but it is unclear how close a move is as the Reds are looking for a permanent deal.
(Insert something about him being quicker than Cristiano Ronaldo).
