THE Reds have agreed a fee in the region of £32million with Crystal Palace for Christian Benteke. Let’s see what else is happening on the Liverpool transfer front.

Benteke To Palace

So, the Benteke story. The fee is believed to be an initial £27m with £5m in add ons, and the player has been given permission to travel down to London to agree personal terms and undergo a medical.

The Belgian appeared in 29 league games scoring nine goals, but it had become clear this summer that he wouldn’t feature in Jürgen Klopp’s plans heading into the new season.

A good player but not the right fit for us. He’ll do well for Palace.

Milan Chasing Paredes

AC Milan have made Liverpool target Leandro Paredes their number one target, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, after his manager insisted that the player may leave the club before the deadline.

It is believed that Klopp is interested in the Roma midfielder, with some reports suggesting that the Reds had made a bid of £17m.

Reds To Battle For El Ghazi

Liverpool could be set for a battle in their bid to sign Anwar El Ghazi from Ajax, with AC Milan – once again – interesting in the winger.

Reports from Il Tempo suggest that the Eredivisie club would accept offers in the region of 18m euros for the Dutchman, who seems to be keen on a move away. At six foot two he’s a physical option, which would stand him in good stead with the physicality of the Premier League.

Give Lazar Markovic to Milan, then we might be able to get this done.

Luan Attracting Premier League Interest

According to Brazilian outlet Zero Hora, Manchester United and Liverpool remain keen on signing Gremio striker Luan Vieira.

Luan is currently with the Brazil olympic squad, and it is believed that his club will accept no less than 30m euros for the 23-year-old.

Sessegnon Targeted

It’s not the one you think. The Daily Mail are reporting that Manchester City have taken an interest in Liverpool and Manchester United target Ryan Sessegnon.

The 16-year-old made his debut for Fulham against Leeds on Tuesday, and the England U17 international is a versatile option who – get on this, Reds – is capable of playing left back.

Here he is being good at football:
