   I like Can. I thought he did well today. My issue is with him and Lucas starting together. I feel it nulifies our attack. He’s got a great future but he’s a bit hit and miss at the minute as you’d expect from someone of his age. I think he did well today because of the players around him. He became the understudy to more senior players in midfield and attack. Possibly, in the past he’s taken it on himself to be the leader due to a lack of leadership around him. I’m looking forward to seeing how he is in say 18 months.

   We need to go to Germany and play our strongest team. If we can get a 3 nil win the lads can have 10 days off before the final and play the kids at home.
   City have a tough week. On Sunday they play Chelsea at 4. Wednesday they’re in Kiev for the first leg and then the final 4 days later. I can’t see where they can rotate there.

   Great win – so refreshing to not worry about conceding late on and just enjoy watching. The wave of attacking talent is back and it felt good. Origi getting smootched?! Wow. One thing on the pink shows (just a minor gripe as I’m terrible with these things) but please please no crisp packets whilst recording. Future thanks and thank you for how quickly you get these shows out the door after games. It’s the only thing that helps me through a defeat sometimes.

   Entertaining listen all the way but can you leave opening the crisps til after you’ve finished recording next time.
