IN THE CHAIR this week, Andy Heaton was joined by Sean Rogers, James Sutton and the returning John Gibbons.
The lads discuss Raheem Sterling’s imminent departure, whether it’s a good move for both him and the club and how Liverpool will reinvest the money from the sale.
Gotta agree the success of the £terling sale can only be judged by how well we spend it.
I remain unconvinced by Benteke but if he is the clubs no1 choice then get it done ASAP. We held out for very near the full amount for Sterling so I expect Villa to do the same.
Also massively agree that we should be bringing in another “star” player after Benteke to make our players and the opposition sit up and take notice that we mean business.
Perhaps another attacker that can break down those stubborn defences with trickery, guile or pace and can contribute to the goals tally. Maybe unlikely but in the mould of Reus or Aubameyang…..not some youngster.
There’s a £50m what?? going into next years accounts, Andy unfortunately talks over this bit, someone tell me what was said, it’s driving me crazy, can’t get it no matter how many times I listen. Thanks.
