Interesting Liverpool fans are in the middle of the fight against ticket prices. Clubs could argue that tickets prices could be lowered, as in Germany, if safe standing were allowed, as in Germany.
But standing is particularly sensitive in Liverpool. I’d love to see the kop heaving with a young crowd as it did when I was young.
In those days the kop was the extra man. But now it is only half an extra man and twice the age making half the noise.
