JOHN BARNES turns 51 years old today.
Unarguably one of the greatest players to wear a Liverbird upon his chest, the majesty of Barnes’ Liverpool career cannot be served justice by the written word. Fortunately, the Jamaican born maverick’s playing days were captured on video and will therefore be enjoyed for generations to come thus releasing me of the impossible task of summing up his incredible time at Anfield.
Why bother to write in vain about moments so breathtaking and so exhilarating when we can simply take them in for ourselves over and over again?
