LIMF

LIMF started with a bang last night (Wednesday) with Ella Eyre, Jess Glynne and Becky Hill performing to a packed and ecstatic Camp & Furnace.

This weekend the festival continues with loads of great music events at frighteningly good prices.

Firstly at East Village Arts Club on Friday (August 15), The Anfield Wrap are presenting three of the best musical talents in the city with scouse supergroup The Viper Kings, soul sensation KOF and City Walls lead singer Paul Crowe all cramming onto one very exciting bill. Tickets are just £3 (!) and available from See Tickets

Aside from us, Summercamp takes over Camp & Furnace at the weekend, with Jimi Goodwin (The Doves) headlining the Saturday night, with support from our buddies The Tea Street Band (£12.50). Also on Saturday night Circus (£10) take up residency in The Shipping Forecast with the line-up including  legendary Liverpudlian DJ Yousef (HOW IS EVERYONE GOING TO FIT IN???)  If that isn’t enough to choose from there is a Youth Music Matinee from midday at Eric’s on Mathew Street (Free) which will include performances by Dominic Dunn, Niamh Jones and Sophia. Finally there is an event on both Saturday and Sunday at the Bombed Out Church headlined by Jon Gomm and Loveable Rogues respectively (£15).

So yeah, plenty to get you warmed up for the start of the Tricky Reds’ march to glory. Just remember, staying in’s for wools.
