Every podcast there is a dig at Moses. He’s actually helped the club win points this season. Aspas has contributed fuck all.
Well, he has been a pretty major disappointment. Buying youngsters is one thing as you expect them to take a season or two to prove themselves but what is Moses’ excuse?
Here’s hoping we find some excellent talents this summer despite the world cup getting in the way. We need players all over the pitch to beable to handle Europe and go for top 4 again. Striker (Aspas replacement) full backs x 2, and the ability to spell Sterling, and Henderson/Allen (hopefully with a creative / goal threat though). Even Suso might have to go on loan to an English club to up the pace he’s been used to dealing with.
Still, Rodgers and the team are making it as easy as possible for us to recruit. Salah can go bake his head.
Can we have Juliette on every week. Excellent guest but she’s also completely relaxed me. Maybe get her to come on to talk about our opposition whoever we’re playing. I’d convinced myself this was going to be harder than i’d imagined but they sound appalling after listening to her. I can have a relaxed day tomorrow now.
Juliet was great but I don’t want to underestimate Norwich. They have some very good footballers on their day – Wes Hoolahan for instance can be superb on the ball as can Snodgrass particularly from set pieces. They may have lost their last 6 away games but they have lost only 1 of their last 6 home games.
With Sturridge injured, Moses may still have an important part to play. He is a decent player but Coutinho and Sterling have been so much better at heads up football. I think any digs at Victor are mostly because he’s a Chelsea player and that breeds distrust when we are vying for the title with them. He hasn’t really grasped his chances though either. The loan situation is just a bit wrong at the moment and my feeling is that player loans to teams in the same division should be stopped.
Regarding Moses Andy, my guess is any digs at Moses are not down to him being a Chelsea player or even his ability. Liverpool fans aren’t like that in my experience. If he gives his all for the shirt then he could be on loan from the FA for all we’d care. He’d be welcomed. Moses has been given a massive chance being on loan at Liverpool and he’s given the impression he’s not that bothered. Fans don’t like that. I believe that’s why he’ll get stick.
As I was saying, the loan system amongst Premiership clubs is a great idea.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Due to the fact that I’m counting the minutes ’till the next game I’ve realised some thing:
Chelsea’s argument that LFC is better off without mid week/European football is bollox.
For example, when we won the treble and finished in a champions league position the games were coming thick and fast. Therefore the players had no time to think about what was happening.
Today, the players have seven days to think about it. That’s why Gerrard looked like he hadn’t slept in four days and Suarez was like a spinning top. So, in conclusion, Chelsea have got it easy on sunday.
I hope one of you media whores reads this and puts it ‘out there’.
Maureen might want to reflect on how he played for a draw at Old Trafford at the beginning of the season when he selected a side without a player in a genuine striking position.
The European games argument is a non-starter anyway, teams simply don’t lose at home to Sunderland and away to Stoke, Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the *same* season and become Premiership Champions. With all due respect to those clubs, Chelsea’s massive no expense spared squad and £10m/year manager should not exit those games with *zero* points.
Are you mad? Can’t you see the blatant ref’s conspiracy against the Chavs. Lordy, there are none so blind as those who can’t see!!
ps. that was sarcasm.
Just wanted to let you know that according to the new Premier League Rules you only have to play 5 games to get a medal. Also , each club gets 40 medals now. Then it is up to the Club to decide who gets them. So Luis Alberto doesnt need another game or Even Luis Enrique can get one now.
Well taken penalty by our Fabio yesterday which left Jose with the only option he knows…and that is to prove the well known theory that he is football’s worst loser and biggest bellend.
No wonder the English press love him, he makes their job so easy that he is literally putting food on their table. As mentioned a few podcasts back, why does no one ever call him out on his bullshit? With Ramirez they’ve got the ammo to put it to him that he’s lucky the ref didn’t make them play with 10 men…instead they just let him slither away?
Back to business. As Brendan said, these types of results should be a massive warning to us all, and Fowler help anyone on that pitch today that doesn’t give everything they’ve got for the cause otherwise StevieG will be on their case…
THIS DOES NOT FUCKING SLIP…!!!!
Can’t wait for kick off!
