   Slot inherited the winning team from Klopp, that’s why we won last season. What he has since done is destroy that team over the summer recess. It was complete thoughtlessness in allowing the jumbled shedding of players, especially Diaz over a refusal to raise his low salary when he was on fire. This was followed by a complete pig’s ear of dealing with Konate who should have been sold as he showed such a lack of commitment game after game.
   We then had the ludicrous idea that an wholesale replacement team could be turned out to maintain our momentum. This ludicrously led to having no team at all but simply eleven blokes simply kicking a ball about – something you could see in any local park.
   Any idea of a ‘team’ has evaporated and Slot seems to have no idea of what to do about it. We seem to be heading frantically for relegation at this rate.

   I agree with every word that the three of you have said particularly regarding the number one priority, that the team has lost its resilience.

   I want to mention something that Carl wrote in one of his email pieces, and only with the best of intentions all round. I don’t know about you but for me singing the Diogo Jota song at 20 minutes breaks my concentration and focus on the game. So what is it doing to the players? For an elite sportsman focus and intensity create the fine margins that becomes the difference between losing and winning, It seems to me that there is a time and place for everything including when and how to preserve the memory of Diogo and André, but 20 minutes into a game seems to me not to be the right time. As a fanbase we are highly creative and I am sure another time, place or method can be found.
