THE transfer window closes at 11.30pm tomorrow night, so here is a round-up of the latest Liverpool FC transfer gossip.

Pulisic Move Unlikely

ESPN are reporting that a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic is unlikely to be concluded during this transfer window.

Jürgen Klopp is a big fan of the 17-year-old, having initially brought him to Dortmund, and the Reds were believed to have made a bid in the region of £11million, which looks likely to be rejected.

If we want him, and he wants us, I’m sure we’ll get him in the future.

Sakho Rejects Stoke

Mamadou Sakho has turned down a loan move to Stoke City, according to The Mirror.

The Frenchman’s future at the club remains unclear, with Liverpool believed to be open to loan offers.

Stoke are understood to be pursuing Phil Jones after the Sakho setback. Lol.

Balo To Nice Looks Likely

Reports in the Daily Mail suggest that Mario Balotelli is set to make a move to French club Nice.

The Italian has been linked with several moves this summer, and it appears the saga may be set to finally come to an end.

Is right.

Ings Approaches Snubbed

Liverpool have rejected several approaches for Danny Ings, according to the ECHO.

The 24-year-old is yet to play a minute of competitive football this season, but it is understood that Klopp still sees the striker as part of his plans — and is easing him back to full fitness after his cruciate ligament injury.

Speaking of Ings, this popped up over the weekend, and it’s boss:

Rafa In For Markovic

Goal.com are reporting that Newcastle have made an approach for Lazar Markovic, and are willing to go “above and beyond” to sign the player.

Markovic has struggled to force his way into Klopp’s plans, and is reportedly open to the idea of dropping down to the Championship to revive his career.

Still reckon he’s too good for the Championship.

Reds Agree Alberto Fee

Liverpool have agreed a fee of around £6m for Luis Alberto, according to the ECHO.

The fee is believed to be £4.3m up front with a further £1.7m in add ons, triggered by European qualification, and a 30% sell on clause.

Good move for all parties.

Wisdom Set For Salzburg

The ECHO are also reporting that Liverpool have agreed to loan Andre Wisdom to Red Bull Salzburg for the rest of the season.

Wisdom is another player who is surplus to requirements at the club, and he is now set for a fourth loan move in as many years.

Bit of a mad move, isn’t it.
