JÜRGEN Klopp has already indicated he may be in the market for another defender given the current injury problems. So lets see who the Reds are being linked with on this Wednesday morning.

De Sciglio Bid Rejected

There have been widespread rumours in the last few days that Liverpool are interested in AC Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio, as they continue to look for defensive reinforcements.

However, Calcio Mercato are reporting that the Reds have had a bid of £16million rejected, with it being suggested that the defender is holding out for a move to Juventus.

He’s naturally right sided so maybe we shouldn’t be looking for anymore square pegs to put in round holes, but lets have a YouTube:

Daily Hector Update

Here it is. The daily update on the ongoing Jonas Hector saga. The rumours have been reignited by Klopp’s claims that they may still be in the market for a defender.

But, the ECHO have suggested that the German international’s valuation currently stands at £20million, which Liverpool believe to be too high, and a move still looks unlikely.

Get the feeling this could rumble on.

Draxler On Red Alert

Julian Draxler has reportedly told Bild that he is unhappy at Wolfsburg and is looking for a move, according to The Telegraph.

Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old, who is believed to be valued at around £52million. Draxler was apparently angered by his employers insisting that he would be staying and was happy at the club.

Can’t see it myself.

Drinkwater Interest

Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with a move for Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater, who has a rumoured valuation of around £16million.

The Daily Mail are reporting that it still seems more likely that the 26-year-old will sign a new deal with The Foxes, with Spurs supposedly put off by his age.

Could he be the midfielder fans are crying out for?

Liverpool Linked With Barca Target

Barcelona are being linked with a move for another striker, to provide cover for their attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and former Red Luis Suarez.

Sport are reporting that Luan from Gremio is the target, and have also suggested that Liverpool had an approach for the Brazilian starlet rejected, with the Brazilian club not keen on entering negotiations.

Once again I point you towards the wonders of YouTube:

Madrid Want Sissoko

Yes. Really. Real Madrid are preparing to make a bid for the £35million-rated Moussa Sissoko, which could see two Madrid youngsters heading the other way on loan, according to reports in The Guardian.

The midfielder, a star for France in their Euro 2016 campaign, is believed to be looking for way out of St James Park, and has been linked with Klopp’s Reds already this summer.

Is this actually happening?

Reds Dealt Jese Blow

Seemingly another transfer blow for Liverpool, with target Jese Rodriguez set to join Paris Saint Germain for around 25million euros.

L’Equipe are reporting that the 23-year-old has been unable to force his way into the plans of Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, and a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

Rather have Divock though, wouldn’t we?
