Jubilant Graeme Souness holds aloft the Milk Cup trophy after his side beat their Merseyside rivals Everton 1-0 in the replay of the Milk Cup final at Maine Road, Manchester. Souness scored the only goal in the 22nd minute to give Liverpool their fourth League Cup win.
