THE award-winning Anfield Wrap is proud to announce the launch of The Anfield Wrap on City Talk 105.9FM
Hosted by TAW’s very own Neil Atkinson, the lads will have an in-depth chat on the week’s events and look forward to the weekend’s action in their usual no-nonsense style.
Produced in addition to the regular Monday podcast, the hour-long show will debut from the Radio City Tower 6-7pm on Thursday, March 15 and will be available to download as a stand-alone podcast after broadcast on both The Anfield Wrap’s website – www.theanfieldwrap.com – and City Talk’s home page – www.citytalk.fm.
The show will also be repeated on City Talk on Saturday mornings at 7am.
Announcing the show, TAW co-founder Andy Heaton said: “We are extremely excited to be taking the TAW project to the airwaves and incredibly flattered to be offered the opportunity by City Talk. If you had said to any of us 12 months ago when we began putting TAW together that we would be broadcasting from the iconic Radio City Tower within a year we would have laughed our heads off.”
City Talk’s Head of Sport Steve Hothersall added: “We’re delighted to be able to bring The Anfield Wrap to City Talk 105.9. It’s rightly gained a reputation as one of the best football podcasts out there – it’s incisive, passionate and a must listen for all Liverpool fans.”
City Talk 105.9 is also available on DAB and online at radioplayer.citytalk.fm and you can follow them on Twitter at @CityTalk1059.
Made up for you. Well done Lads
Great news, made up for you lot!
Congratulations! Listening to the pod is the only source of joy I get after a big win, or solace after a bone-crushing loss. Glad to hear that you’ll be hitting traditional airwaves to spread the word :-)
Congratulations to you all,i hope the bleeper works in that studio ;)
World domination one step closer. Nice one, lads.
Well Done Lads! Next stop the world!
Excellent news lads, nothing less than you deserve.
Brilliant lads. Can wait for more to listen to now. Don’t forget your roots though. I need that podcast in my life.
Smashing news, congratulations! An hour was just not enough for me every week so I’m delighted we get a whole other hour now too!
Wow! Well done guys!
Congratulations to all involved, much deserved.
Well done lads…great news. By far my favourite podcast so it will be excellent to get another chance to hear your views. I’ve been a LFC fan since 1971 when the reds bought my hero John Toshack from my hometown club Cardiff…bit of a confusing day last week!
Awesome news!
Astonishing. Well played you lot. You all deserve the inevitable success that comes your way.
A great reward for all your hard work, Well done, keep it going
Brilliant. Well played chaps. Best football pod around – only one rivalling it is Ireland’s nightly mon-thurs Off the Ball football show.
Really made up ye lads. Tip of the cap.
Nice one, well done fellas.
I hope this will be equally entertaining, will you have phone ins for proper fans? Not the bloops that phone 5live? Needless to say, I trust TAW podcast will remain the hardcore show that it is with your full and frank discussions. YNWA
Great news! Fully deserved lads!
More TAW for our listening pleasure can only be a good thing. Keep up the good work.
You mean I get TAW twice a week now???!!?!?!?!
I think I need to change my pants…
I listen to your podcast each week going to work as a ex kopite now living in Aus
what a great show you lads put on keep up the good work and i will be listening to the new show.
congatrats
I hope that it all goes well – I hope that the fact that you’ve gone mainstream doesn’t lead to a dilution of the passion that you all have, but I just can’t see Jim being able to refrain from dropping the C-bomb so often that the bleeper doesn’t burn out!
Congrats and Good Luck,
Pete
Absolutely bleeping boss news. taw is bleeping the best bleeping podcast, now.double the bleeping action each week. just save some of the bleeping laughs for the regular bleeping pod.
Well Done
Can you make sure that is made available on iTunes as well.
Many Thanks.
Nice one – it’s a deadly podcast – blows stuff like “the football ramble” away.
Please don’t get too professional though – make sure some of you continue to roll up late to the studio, and keep your phones on, etc. like you do now ;-)
