Great stuff today. It’s gonna be a mad next 19 games but I’m almost as up for it as the lads playing seem to be.
Big shout out to Hendo today. I know it’s against the Geordies so he’s got extra incentive to play well but he was immense today. And the good thing is if it wasn’t him, it would be someone else. Because we’ve got a squad full, an honest to God benchload plus of quality captains who all seem to be playing for each other. It’s like big Virg, by virtue of being so good, has by footballing osmosis passed this on to the rest of the team and now they’re all leaders and infecting each other.
And long may it continue. Jobs half done. Let’s get it finished!
