This was excellent John. Potential for a regular feature.
I am a big admirer of Robertson however, I am a bit biased as I am from Scotland. I think LFC have done well in signing him. Just ask anyone, “Moreno or Robertson?”, you know the answer.
I think Robertson was a “bargain” and as such his signing acts as a counter to van Dijk’s price tag.
Thus looked at together it is money well spent and not too much in today’s market.
The other player I thought LFC should have snapped-up last season was funnily enough, Celtic’s Kieran Tierney. He and Robertson have similar qualities and styles. The only thing about Tierney is that he would have been more expensive as he has been more “visible” playing at Celtic. Plus, there would have been a “Kenny Tax” on him as you buggers still owe us from 1977. Bargain of the century that and Messrs. Paisley and Fagan knew this, hence their hasty departure.
Anyway good show. Good players. Great times at LFC.
