AFTER a battling Liverpool fought their way to victory against Tony Pulis’s alehouse Baggies, we asked Anfield Wrap contributors for their immediate thoughts on the win at The Hawthorns.

No Mor Of This Nonsense

Absolute pantomime from Moreno. Had enough. Just go, mate. See you later. Do someone’s else’s head in. Absolutely brain dead…but well in Reds. @robbohuyton

Moreno MOM for me. @paul7cope

Fuck off. @robbohuyton

If we’d conceded at the end there I’m hunting Moreno down. I’m sending him his cat’s head in a box. @RobGutmann

It’s Simple, Simon Is Our Saviour

Can we start saying Mignolet is a good keeper yet? Or do we still need to keep talking about when he was shit? Can only imagine what we’d all be saying about him if we’d bought him last summer. Mad how everyone’s prepared to give a new keeper time to become the next De Gea, when this one could actually have been becoming a really good one on the sly in front of us. @paul7cope

Simon Mignolet is the best keeper in the world. @PaulSenior1

Winning Ugly?

Weird that wasn’t it? You play like that and lose and everyone’s fuming, but you keep the set pieces out and put one in and everyone’s sound with it. We weren’t very good but we did what we needed to. @PhilBlundell

Very different win to Stoke where we were largely shite. Such a tough place to go with everything all their grocks throw at you. Thought we were great. Midfield in particular deserve loads of credit. We were never shit. Fuck off and watch dickheads doing keepy ups on YouTube if you lot can’t appreciate that

Been bored to death for years hearing about Paisley’s teams doing that. My heroes, the lot of them. @johngibbonsblog

Is right, Gibbo. Had this very conversation with two uncles last night. Paisley’s teams were allowed to pass back to the goalie and he could hold it for ages. Imagine how fucking shit that was. Thought we were really good today. Could and should have won 3-0 or 4-0 with the chances created. @paul7cope

Thought we were excellent. Best performance In months. Such a difficult place to play footy. Bossed it. @Benjanijohnson
