ON the manager this one, needed a momentum builder for Tuesday but decided to throw the kids in knowing we’re a team under massive pressure.

Also, a disclaimer, I’m furious and I’m also not trying to bury the kids, but it’s the ratings…

Loris Karius: 6

Personally don’t think he’s got any business coming for the first goal, heard otherwise, like, but I’m not having it.

Decent save one-on-one to deny Wolves a third.

Connor Randall: 3

Got a mate who occasionally gets the team early, thought he was taking the piss with this one, absolutely no idea what the thinking was behind playing him after two home defeats on the spin.

Joe Gomez: 2

Kind of game that can finish off a Liverpool career that, needed taking off because his head had clearly gone.

Sure he’ll recover but was absolutely abject.

Ragnar Klavan: 3

Looks alright when he can be carried, nowhere near good enough when he has to be the carrier.

Alberto Moreno: 4

Easy scapegoat, isn’t he? Especially when you do the things everyone criticises you for?

Stupidly went to ground for the second after doing the hard bit and catching up with his man.

Sake.

Lucas Leiva: 2

How can we be lovers when we can’t be friends.

Felt like him and Georginio Wijnaldum were playing their own game unaware of what was going on around them.

Georginio Wijnaldum: 3

Him and his fellow ‘to-me-to-you Chuckle Brother’ mate Lucas in the middle absolutely fucking stank the place out today.

Pair of them needed to look after the young lads and take some responsibility but did the exact opposite.

Ovie Ejaria: 6

Only one who tried to make any real forward movements in the midfield, which is ridiculous considering he’s the junior of the three.

Ben Woodburn: 6

Again, let down by his supposed seniors and on a hiding to nothing.

Constantly trying to get in behind but wasn’t getting the ball anywhere quick enough.

Roberto Firmino: 5

Effort and application but doesn’t link up well with Divock Origi, looked brighter with his mate with him. Surprised he got hooked given the other candidates.

Divock Origi: 4

The record books will show that he scored, but frankly astonished he was still on the pitch to do so.

Then compounds everything by fluffing his lines to level things up moments later.

SUBS

Philippe Coutinho: 6

Came on to save the day against a team that already had a 2-0 lead to hold on to, having said that, looked dangerous if a little too deep at times.

Daniel Sturridge: 5

Desperate for anything and not wearing it well, dropping deep again to find the ball when we need him up the pitch.

Saying that, given the chance of actually being found by a teammate today in a dangerous area and without having to beat 10 men was zero.

Emre Can: 6

Gave him shit recently, so an apology of sorts, played with more conviction in however long he was in the pitch for than most of his teammates in 90.
