WATFORD THREE LIVERPOOL NIL
Just keep saying it to yourself. Watford three goals. Three of the goals.
Neil Atkinson just about managed to do more than that. John Gibbons the same. But Phil Blundell and Martin Fitzgerald are on the phone and they have been there and witnessed it.
Liverpool abject, take this as your starting point. What more do you need to know? Well all this about Skrtel, Sakho, Bogdan and Firmino.
All this which turns into a discussion of the world’s biggest blogger Bernie Taupin.
Your song?
Your Pink.
No, just no!
This is not analysis. This is moaning and fewming.
A complete waste of time.
You can’t analyze something this SHITE.
That’s exactly what it’s supposed to be…raw emotions immediately laid bare post match. If you want analysis listen to the other shows, they spend in total over 90 minutes dissecting each game. Haven’t you been listening? And if you didn’t need to vent your spleen after that atrocious performance then you never will.
The whole point of The Pink is immediate post-match reaction. If you don’t want that, don’t listen to it. Not sure why you repeatedly say the same thing about it, GrkStav.
Isn’t it a bit ironic that you all (probably correctly) take umbrage at my impulsive over-reaction to the podcast?
‘I’m gonna walk around and drink some more.’
Amen.
Another frustrating display from the red men against another lesser team ? It just shows that there is so much work to be done. Firminio is a little boy lost on that field today and many games before. We wasn’t up to the challenge physically and mentally ? Klopp must know now that this job is bigger challenge than he expected.
I wouldn’t be too quick to write Bogdan off. De Gea was rubbish when he started in the EPL and he’s pretty good now.
Bitching and whining and taking the piss out of Elton John – a man infinitely more successful than you in every endeavour, including his football involvement – does not constitute ‘match analysis’ no matter how piss-poor Liverpool have been.
Fucking grow up and do the job we pay you for.
What about the vast majority of the show where the match was discussed? And “fucking grow up”? Nice one.
‘Make’ is a verb.
‘The Pink’ is by far and away my favorite show, it embodies exactly what I want right after the game.
Getting to games is difficult, I get a Kop tickets from bloke A, who works with bloke B, so I’ve never met bloke B.
Consequently I watch the game on me tod, in the company of bloke B’s neighbours.
Walking out of Anfield at the end, I strain to hear the opinions of those walking near me, to get their gut reaction. (bit sad I know)
It’s great to hear the boys venting their frustrations, verbally attacking our team, Watford and even Sir Elton John, that’s all fine, it is only minutes after a shitty performance, it’s knee-jerk, it’s unfair, it’s biased, it’s Klopp on Pulis at the final whistle, it’s supposed to be this way
Honest question: Was there any part of the venting and critiquing and “slaughtering” that you heard during the podcast that you actually disagreed with, though?
I am almost certain that if I actually agreed with everything the lads said, I’d have liked the podcast and appreciated hearing others express my own raw emotional reaction.
But if you don’t actually agree? What if you know for a fact that factual statements made during the podcast are incorrect, erroneous? What if you feel that individual players are being talked very poorly about despite not deserving it? All because our club failed to get a good result . . .
