I KNOW what you are thinking. When is The Coach Home going to cover League 2? Well the long wait is over as Neil Atkinson and John Gibbons speak to representatives of the top three clubs in the division.

First up is Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman. Accy are second in the table after a run of eleven games unbeaten, including five away wins in a row. John describes how the team with the lowest budget in the league have confounded expectations to move within touching distance of promotion. He also has praise for their fan base, who got to Wycombe early at the weekend to give the team a thunderous welcome.

Next we speak to George Dugdale who has taken Saturday off from his job as an analyst for BT Sport in the hope of cheering his beloved Oxford United to glory. He’s a nervous wreck to be honest, but he thinks they will do it. He also tells us why the League Two Player of the Season might not even win Oxford United player of the season, and praises the Scouse contingent that have wound up at The U’s.

Last but not least we chat to James Averill from the Northampton Town Supporters Trust. When we spoke to him earlier in the season he was worried that he might not have a club to support. Now Northampton are champions of League Two, having amassed 96 points with a game to go. So how did they turn it round? James fills us in on the tireless work of club staff, many of whom have gone through periods of the season unpaid, and the players who have remained focused and romped away with the league. He also thanks TAW listeners for their financial support in difficult times. So well in yous.
