A SHADOW Liverpool side earned a creditable draw at West Brom on the final day of the Premier League season.
Neil Atkinson is joined by Mike Nevin, Dan Vincent and Jay McKenna to talk Jürgen Klopp v Tony Pulis, Liverpool’s eighth placed finish in the league and what it all means as attention inevitably shifts to Liverpool v Sevilla and the Europa League final in Basel.
How much did Jordon Ibe need that goal? Was that Martin Skrtel’s last game for the club? What does the future hold for Joe Allen?
And where do they buy their big tellies from?
The lads also gauge the mood as the Swiss ready themselves for a red invasion. Will Liverpool’s 12th European final be a successful one? What will it mean for Klopp’s plans?
This and more on this week’s FREE Anfield Wrap show.
Give Brad Smith a Break will yer Neil. Ffs Moreno gets how many chances to impress and iron his game when it’s got more creases than a cheap shirt. Hes crap at absolutely everything. And God only knows where he’ll fuck up on Wednesday against his old home town club.
Atm Smith is maybe a bit anxious trying too hard and is a tad over zealous, and doing himself few favours. I like him because generally he is more intelligent and composed around the box and is capable of smart movement, he has the speed to get to the touch line and cut back a smart ball.
Like I say with a run of games I’m certain we’d see a far better player than we’ve seen already.
